Site Tour of ANSTOs Lucas Heights Nuclear Facility

Construction of Australia’s new nuclear medicine production facility began in mid 2014 and remains on target to be completed later this year. The site tour will take you to both new ANM and existing OPAL nuclear facilities.

ANSTO would like to take the opportunity to use the expertise and experience of the Performance Drivers Consortium to offer improvement ideas before the commissioning activities of the new Nuclear Medicine facility commence.

The new nuclear medicine facility will enable ANSTO to triple production of Molybdenum-99 (Mo-99). The increased capacity will enable Australia to meet domestic demand, as well as supply a significant proportion of the world demand for this nuclear medicine.

As part of their Consortium membership, members are entitled to send up to 6 attendees, at $490 plus GST per quarter for annual membership. Joining the PDC is an affordable and sound investment in you and your staff’s continued growth and development.

To attend this site tour on a casual basis, the cost is $249 per attendee plus GST.
